This brand new and exciting Higher: English and Social Sciences course will allow you to study three Highers in one sitting; Higher English plus two from Higher History, Modern Studies or Psychology. This course aims to enable you to progression to both HND and degree programmes.
We are able to offer a number of guaranteed places on to our HND in Social Science to students who have successfully completed this course with necessary grades. This would allow you to articulate on to the third year of a number of degree programmes including courses at Glasgow Caledonian University and University of the West of Scotland, depending on your results.
This course is available to study on a full time or part time basis.

- Higher English
- Guidance tutorials to support you throughout your course
plus two from the following subjects
- Higher History
- Higher Psychology
- Higher Modern Studies
There may also be the opportunity to study National 5 or Higher Maths within this course.

Entry requirements (minimum)
You should have a minimum of a 'B' grade in National 5 English, History, Modern Studies and Psychology
If you do not meet the entry criteria for your chosen course, you may be offered an alternative course in the same subject area.

Making an application
For courses starting in August, you can make up to two applications.
Applications are made to a course and a first choice of campus. If the course is oversubscribed at your first choice you will be automatically considered for alternative sites and may be made an offer without a further application.
