Employee Training Services

For many companies, developing their staff is the most worthwhile investment. Employee training development will help to grow skilled staff who are comfortable using the latest technology and techniques relevant to your industry.

Investing in employee training extends beyond the obvious benefits of increased capabilities - training will also empower your staff and build the confidence needed to help penetrate new markets as well as acquire new business.

If you already know exactly what employee training your company needs, then Glasgow Clyde College can help to deliver. If you’re not quite sure, that’s fine too - we’re on hand to help you develop and define an employee training programme that will aid your business in achieving its goals.

Glasgow Clyde College is approved to deliver training recognised by a wide range of industry and awarding bodies. This can take the form of short training sessions of one or two days, to courses of longer duration.

Employee Training Tailored to You

At Glasgow Clyde, we understand as a business that flexibility is a necessity. We can deliver training on your own premises, at one of the College's three superb Glasgow-based campuses in Anniesland, Cardonald or Langside, or any other venue that suits your requirements. The College delivers programmes across the UK and internationally.

Simply tell us what your constraints are and we will work around them to ensure your employee training is effective, well-delivered and has a positive impact on your future business.

Help with Funding

Glasgow Clyde College can assist employers, and their employees, with regard to accessing funding to cover course and training fees.

Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) funding can be used to cover fees for courses such as HNC/D and SVQ qualifications. If you have an employee(s) looking to access this funding stream, we can assist with the application process.

At the moment, we cannot offer either Flexible Workforce Development Funding (FWDF) or Individual Training Account (ITA). These Government-backed funds have been withdrawn for the foreseeable future but may be available again.

The College can access other streams of funding which may be applicable for employers to access, depending on funding criteria and the training to be delivered. Please feel free to contact us to enquire if any funding may be applicable to you.

We can also assist in the completion of funding applications which employers make directly, such as CITB. Our team can provide assistance, with this process, with the proviso that the funding claimed would be used for training delivered by Glasgow Clyde College.
