If you're already a nominated MOT tester, you’ll need to complete at least 3 hours of training each year to keep your skills current and maintain your professional status. You’ll also need to pass the DVSA’s annual assessment.
This course is designed for testers working with Light Vehicles (Classes 3, 4, 5 and 7) and covers everything you need to meet the DVSA’s annual requirements, all in one evening.
What will I learn?
The course content follows the latest DVSA topics for the current year. You can view these on the GOV.UK website.
When and where
The course runs on a Tuesday or Thursday evening from 6–9pm at our Anniesland campus. ENQUIRE NOW to find out the next available start date.
Assessment
You’ll complete your assessment during the course session.
Failure to complete the annual assessment within the training year will result in your MOT testing status being suspended until the requirement is met.
Entry requirements (minimum)
You’ll need to be a fully qualified MOT tester to join this course.
