Whether you're a hobbyist, a DIY enthusiast, or someone interested in pursuing a career in metalwork, this course will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to get started with confidence
No prior experience required.
What will I learn?
The first 2 weeks focus on the Design phase, where you will plan your metalwork project and learn workshop processes and equipment. The final 6 weeks transition into the Make phase, where you will get hands-on with cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing your very own metal masterpiece to take home.

- Planning a metalwork project
- Introduction to metalwork tools and equipment
- Mechanical and thermal cutting techniques
- Hot and cold forming techniques
- Fabrication techniques
- Joining techniques
- Finishing techniques
The main material type(s) used in the course will be structural steel in forms such as flat bar, round bar, box section, angle iron, sheet and plate etc(included in your course fee).
