Internal Progression

Are you a current student and want to progress to another course with us in August 2026? 

We'll automatically email you with a direct Conditional Offer if you're:

• studying an NQ or NC level qualification up to SCQF Level 6 and wish to progress to a course in the same subject area
• a school pupil studying in college and wish to progress to a course in the same subject area

You'll also have a chance to make an early application for August 2026 coures if you're:

• studying an ESOL, Adult Returner or Gateway course in the Faculty of Arts and Continuing Education and wish to progress to a course in another faculty

Once you receive a Conditional Offer email you don’t have to do anything unless you want to decline the offer, and there will be instructions in the email to tell you how to do this via your online account.

If want to progress to a course in a different subject area you will likely have to apply via our website when applications open for August 2026 courses on Wednesday 14 January 2026.
