Where do I start?
Glasgow Clyde College offers a range of levels of study, including courses perfect for complete beginners. Your qualifications and experience will determine which course is right for you.
Where will my course take me?
Once you've successfully completed your course, you can move on to further study at college or university. You can also pursue a career in any of these areas where you may be helping people at home, in residential homes, day centres or assisted housing or within a range of areas in the third sector.
What do our students say?
"Studying social care at Glasgow Clyde College has changed me as a person. I am more confident and I have made many friends. I have learned skills that will allow me to reach my full potential - I feel confident in going for a career in the care sector."

"I decided at the age of 35 that I would like to return study. For me, this was going to be a challenge as I had left school at the age of 15 with no qualifications. I wanted to work within the care sector and the NC Level 4 Social Care course was the beginning of my journey. Over time, my confidence grew and the more I learned and passed, the more confident I became.
I not only successfully completed this course but also went onto complete the NC Level 5 Social Care and started working within the sector.
My journey hasn’t stopped here - I have now completed my HNC Social Services and am going on to do my BA/Diploma in Education and Social Services, something that I never imagined I would be able to do."
