Glasgow Clyde College is proud to introduce two fully branded electric Renault Kangoo vehicles, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.

These new electric vehicles will support essential college operations while contributing to our wider environmental strategy. By transitioning to electric transport, we are taking another step towards a greener future, aligning with our dedication to sustainable practices across campus.

The introduction of these vehicles highlights our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact and promote eco-friendly solutions in education and beyond. Staff, students, and visitors will soon spot the new zero-emission vehicles around campus, proudly displaying the Glasgow Clyde College branding.

Niall Macpherson, Chief Operating Officer at GCC said “At Glasgow Clyde College, we are committed to embedding sustainability into everything we do, and the introduction of these electric vehicles is another important step towards reducing our carbon footprint. By adopting cleaner, greener transport solutions, we are not only improving our own environmental impact but also setting an example for our students and the wider community. We’re excited to see these vehicles in action and look forward to continuing our journey towards a more sustainable future."

This initiative is part of our wider commitment to sustainability, ensuring that we continue to lead by example in adopting cleaner, greener technologies and a further three vehicles will be introduced to the fleet in the coming months.
