Has the Great British Sewing Bee inspired you to learn the basics of sewing and dressmaking? This Basic Sewing course is an ideal starting point for beginners. You will learn how to use a sewing machine and also be given lots of ideas and advice on suitable projects to get started on.

What will I learn?

Please bring a pair of dressmaking scissors and a tape measure with you to the first class. You provide your own materials for the class and the tutor will explain what you need.

*Please note this course is only for beginners. If you have previously completed this 8 week course and wish to continue your studies, please book one of our other fashion or textiles courses.
