The Home Decorating Introduction course will teach you the basics of home decorating such as wall painting, preparing surfaces and wallpapering. Receive a basic understanding of decorating techniques from preparation to a satisfactory standard.
What will I learn?
During this Home Decorating Introduction course you will learn:
- Preparing surfaces for decoration
- Applying paint using a brush and roller to achieve a perfect finish
- Cut in paint woodwork
- Wallpapering
By completing the course you will have a basic understanding of different types of paint/wallpaper and the hand skills required to achieve basic home decorating.
Making an application
For courses starting in August, you can make up to two applications.
Applications are made to a course and a first choice of campus. If the course is oversubscribed at your first choice you will be automatically considered for alternative sites and may be made an offer without a further application.
