The Higher Maths course will build on your previous mathematical experience in the areas of algebra, geometry and trigonometry and will introduce you to calculus.

Please note: This course will be taught on campus but will have options for online classes if unforeseen circumstances arise.

After the deposit payment, you will have 2 further instalments of £105 to pay in March and April 2024. (payment required by the 31st of the month)

We will provide instruction by email on how to make the balance payments, once we receive your deposit.

3. There are no funding options or fee waivers available for this course.

4. If you choose to make only a deposit payment, you agree to make all outstanding balances as directed.

Entry requirements (minimum)

  • A or B pass at National 5, Intermediate 2, Standard Grade Credit Level (or equivalent) in Maths. National 5 Maths with Applications is not accepted.

Please ensure you meet these entry requirements prior to making payment. If you pay but do not meet the entry requirements, the College reserve the right to refuse any refund.

You are required to provide your Scottish Candidate Number (SCN) upon booking so we can ensure you meet the entry requirements above.

The course has obvious relevance if you are interested in fields such as commerce, engineering and science where the mathematics learned will be put to direct use.

National Course qualifications at Higher level can be used to support progression in a variety of work or study contexts.
