Inside the Laugh – The Confidence Effect is a friendly, creative course designed to help adults feel more comfortable speaking, connecting and expressing themselves. Using laughter and simple confidence techniques, learners explore how presence, voice and body language affect how we feel and how others see us. Set in a theatre-style space, the course finishes with an informal creative showcase for those who wish to take part. No experience needed, just come as you are.
What will I learn?
During Inside the Laugh - The Confidence Effect, you'll learn:

This is a relaxed, welcoming course designed for adults of any background. There is no pressure to perform. Participation in the showcase is optional and supported. The focus is on building confidence, not being funny.
You'll be taught by award winning comedian Anna Devitt.
What should you bring?
- Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a positive attitute and willingness to learn.
- A notebook or laptop / ipad would also be useful for any notes or pieces you'd like to work on or develop with humour.
- Bring along one thing you find funny!
