Lockdown Legends Awards 2021
The GCCSA team acknowledged the difficult year that it has been for everyone involved with education and were looking for a way to give back to students and staff. From this, the Lockdown Legends Awards were born...
We asked staff to nominate students, and for students to nominate the staff who had gone above and beyond this year, to recognise their hard work, dedication or efforts. The Student Association would like to thank everyone who took the time to send in a nomination, it was great to read all of the fantastic stories and examples of good practice from around Glasgow Clyde College. The Student Officer team had the tough task of shortlisting and selecting the winners.
And now for the exciting part. We would like to announce the winners of the Lockdown Legends Awards 2021:
Here at Glasgow Clyde College we have loads of amazing students and staff and we could give out so many awards, however we would like to congratulate our winning 'Lockdown Legends' who will each be contacted directly by the Student Association to receive their award.

During the nomination process we received nominations for our Student Officer team and the staff (Jodie and Toni) agreed fully with everything written within these nominations. The officer team at GCCSA have worked extremely hard during a very different academic year and they have been dedicated to finding innovative ways to keep students engaged. They have been an absolute delight to work with and we can't thank them enough for their efforts.
Therefore, our secret announcement is that our four Student Officers are also 'Lockdown Legends' and we would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to them for their hard work.
