Launch pad: Entrepreneurial support at Glasgow Clyde

GCC LAUNCHPAD web

We are thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting new service designed to support
entrepreneurial activity here at Glasgow Clyde College, starting in August 2025! After
months of careful planning and development, we’re excited to introduce a dedicated
Entrepreneurial Support Service aimed at students and staff with entrepreneurial
ambitions.

Whether you have a creative idea, a passion, a side hustle, or are looking to pursue
a full-time business venture, this service is here to help you take that next step. We
understand that turning ideas into reality can be challenging and our service is
designed to offer the guidance, resources, and support you need to succeed.

We are pleased to introduce our Entrepreneur in Residence, Bayile Adeoti, CEO and
founder of Dechomai. Bayile, a former student of Cardonald College, brings a wealth
of experience and passion for entrepreneurship, having spent many years building
her own successful business. She is dedicated to helping fellow entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.

Bayile will be available for drop-in sessions in a specially created space within the
Hairdressing Department on Floor 3 of Cardonald Campus, where she will offer one
to-one advice and support. Additionally, we will provide access to a variety of online
resources through Canvas, ensuring that you can benefit from expert advice no matter where you are.

In addition to drop-ins, Bayile will also be available to deliver tailored presentations to
small groups or full classes, covering a wide range of entrepreneurial topics. Whether
you’re looking for specific advice or a more in-depth session, Bayile can tailor her
support to your needs.

To learn more about this new service or to get in touch, please don’t hesitate to reach
out via email at launchpad@glasgowclyde.ac.uk. We look forward to supporting your
entrepreneurial journey!
