CCN1 is the core or initial qualification for gas operatives. This CCN1 Gas Safety training course is suitable for gas operatives wishing to complete CCN1 initial assessment or reassessment.

For over 35 years, Glasgow Clyde College has provided training that has improved the skills and knowledge of hundreds of gas operatives.

After successful completion of this course, you can progress onto core gas assessments also on offer at Glasgow Clyde College.

Entry requirements (minimum)

  • Foundation gas certificate
  • Expired ACOPS/ACS qualifications
  • Current ACS qualifications
  • City & Guilds gas qualification

Reassessment candidates must have held the CCN1 previously. If certifcation has expired by 12 months or more the initial assessment must be retaken. Reassessment can be completed up to six months before the expiry date.

Making an application

For courses starting in August, you can make up to two applications.

Applications are made to a course and a first choice of campus. If the course is oversubscribed at your first choice you will be automatically considered for alternative sites and may be made an offer without a further application.
