This dressmaking course is ideal for those who have an interest in dressmaking whether they are at a beginners level or wish to develop their skills.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to work from a commercial pattern of your choice and if necessary adapt it to suit your needs. Those who have attended previously will continue to develop their dressmaking skills and techniques and explore materials.
You may want to focus on a final piece of sewing/dressmaking, and your tutor will ensure you follow up a manageable project within the time scale. You provide your own materials for this course.
Entry requirements (minimum)
Please note this course is not suitable for any student with no experience of using a sewing machine. Those requiring experience on a sewing machine should book onto the Basic Sewing class.
