The Social Media for Beginners course is for anyone interested in diving into the world of social media. The whole world seems to be using social media, but for many people, even getting started with socials can be scary. What if you get hacked or scammed? How do I even get started? This course helps you through the process of getting started with social media; the benefits of keeping in touch with people and making new connections, and the pitfalls to avoid.
What will I learn?
Learn the most popular social media channels, their differences, and which one(s) might be most useful for you.
Find out how to set up your accounts, keeping them secure and making them private if you prefer; download social media apps on your phone and use social media on different devices.
Become confident posting, following, liking, sharing, finding friends and making new connections, and understand how to keep safe and secure – recognise scams, prevent hackers, and keep your accounts secure.
