This Philosophy course at Glasgow Clyde College will introduce learners to some of the key areas when researching contemporary philosophy. You will study and discuss a complete overview of different areas where philosophy can be applied. The course will cover an introduction into the main themes of Western philosophy, exploring themes relating to knowledge, reality, mind and value.
What will I learn?
Each week we will look at some of the most famous and influential philosophers and the questions they raise. This is an introductory course so we will start with the basic question, 'What is philosophy?'
Whether you know nothing about philosophy or you wish to expand your knowledge with like-minded learners then this is the course for you.
