COURSE FULL
National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher qualifications, accredited by the SQA, are typically studied at high school and college. These qualifications act as pathways to further study including university entry.
Tuesday evening only: This class will primarily be taught online - College attendance required for initial induction and for assessments throughout the year.
What will I learn?
The National 5 Mathematics course is assessed by a final exam in May. This has two papers, paper 1 is non-calculator and paper 2 allows the use of a calculator.

- Use mathematical operational skills linked to expressions and formulae
- Use mathematical reasoning skills linked to expressions and formulae.

Entry requirements (minimum)
- Must have passed National 4 Maths (including Added Value Unit), Intermediate 1, Standard Grade General Level (or equivalent).
