Would you like to learn a new skill for free? Glasgow Clyde College offers a range of courses in local venues across the North West and South of Glasgow so you learn at a venue close to you.
Our community courses are free and to be eligible to join this course you must:
- live in Glasgow
- be not working, claiming benefits or on a low income
- be over the age of 16
As part of the Young Person’s Guarantee, priority will be given to young people aged between 16-24 who also meet the additional criteria.
The course aims to improve students’ language across numeracy, including budgeting, calculating discounts, and working with measures, shape, and space, alongside increasing digital literacy knowledge and skills, including online safety, finding education and employment opportunities. The course will include practical tasks and quizzes.
