Learn English.

Glasgow Clyde College runs English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses in local community venues across Glasgow.

Our ESOL courses are offered at a variety of levels for students who wish to improve their English language skills. The courses will prepare you for further study or employment. These skills will increase your confidence in everyday life and will help you communicate in the home, with your family, in social situations, and at work.

Our community courses are free, however, to be eligible to join you must be:

  • living in Glasgow
  • claiming benefit, on a low income, not working
  • over the age of 16.

As part of the Young Person’s Guarantee, priority will be given to young people aged between 16-24 who also meet the additional criteria.
