This course offers an unique introduction to the creative industries and to basic photography with an emphasis on theoretical and practical production of a short film and the creation of creative photography, which is both expressive and technically accurate.
You will be taught how to plan, film and edit a short film. You will also learn photography camera techniques and a variety of photographic styles including landscape, urban and portraiture. Photographic work will be undertaken on location in and around Glasgow developing technical and compositional expertise.
The course will also include digital imaging where students will experiment with Adobe Photoshop techniques and learn how to process images through to the production of a personalised e-book folio.
It would be an advantage to have your own DSLR or Bridge camera although some cameras can be provided during class time by the Glasgow Clyde College. On completion of the course you will receive a NPA award in photography.
