The course is aimed at those seeking employment in Floristry but have no prior experience.
The units covers a range of practical designs for weddings, funerals and gift arrangements in foam, planted and hand tied which will be gift wrap. Plus the identification of flowers, foliage and plants in common commercial use. You will learn how to condition and care for the flowers and foliage, display them vases and create window displays.
Assessments will be continuous with a mix of practical and theoretical.
Basic communication and numeracy skills are essential
You may progress onto level 2 City & Guilds Floristry which we offer on a full-time and part-time basis this selection will be via interview plus a communications, numeracy and practical aptitude test.
