The Glasgow Clyde College intermediate photography course is designed to build upon the skills learnt in Photography - Beginners or an equivalent course. It lets you master techniques and skills that you will be able to transfer over to your own particular field of photography.
You will use your own digital SLR (single-lens reflex) or bridge camera to practice creative techniques using depth of field, shutter speed, lighting and composition. The course is designed for students with a working knowledge of the modes and menu in their own cameras.
As part of the course, students will go out on two photo shoots. One will be a night shoot, and one where the class is transferred to a Saturday morning to allow the photo shoot to take place in daylight hours.
Students will manipulate their images using Adobe Photoshop techniques.
As a significant element of this course is computer-based, you'll need to have experience of using a computer and a working knowledge of Apple Mac computers is an advantage.
If you feel this may be a bit advanced for your current level our Beginners Photography Course might interest you.
