Part-time study

Part-time courses are designed to fit around people's lives and, as a result, the duration and attendance pattern is course specific.

Types of part-time classes include:

Part-time evening/day classes

The College offers part-time vocational courses in a range of subjects as part time day or evening study. Most courses start each year in September but there may be opportunities to join some classes at other times.

Short courses

A range of courses which may take place over 1-2 days or over several weeks, which offer training on a specialised area which may benefit you at work.

Flexible Learning

If you are unable to attend college regularly, our Flexible Learning courses allow you to study at your own pace and at a time that suits you. This may also include distance learning.

Work-based Learning

Aimed at those in employment who want to continue their professional development, the College offers a variety of part-time courses that can be studied in the workplace or on a day or block release basis. The duration and attendance pattern is course-specific.

Leisure classes

Leisure classes run in the evening and during the day and can last from one half day to a weekly class for 8 weeks. Leisure classes usually run regularly throughout the year. Find out more about Leisure classes
