Portfolio Building

This course will introduce you to the creative process of developing a strong portfolio whilst exploring a range of creative art and design specialisms. You will work both independently and collaboratively with other students. The course is delivered by a team of practicing artists and designers, who have established an excellent reputation for student acceptances on the partner NQ Advanced Portfolio Preparation and HNC Art and Design courses. You will join a general class combining fine art and design; which is ideal if you're unsure which area best suits your skills.

This course is suitable for secondary students in their 5th or 6th year who are looking to widen their creative skills and build a creative portfolio for applying to art school or college course.

The course mirrors the curriculum content of our highly successful and long established NQ Advanced Portfolio Preparation. Students studying with us have strong progression routes in the past progressing onto a range of other courses and other colleges or universities including the Glasgow School of Art, Edinburgh College of Art, Queen Margaret University, DJCAD, Grays Art School, Edinburgh Napier University, Central St. Martins, Camberwell College of Art and Design, University of Creative Arts London (Wimbledon) University of Huddersfield, Herriot Watt University, University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University.
