This fun, hands-on class will introduce you to the art of baking. You'll develop the skills to produce some delicious baking favourites using professional recipes and techniques. You'll learn a range of preparation methods and gain some valuable hints and tips along the way.
The class will be delivered by a qualified and experience tutor.
Week 1 - Scones - fruit, cherry, cheese or plain
Week 2 - Chocolate Brownie - made with dark chocolate
Week 3 - Butter Shortbread Rounds - traditional & some delectable variations
Week 4 - Cupcakes - traditional vanilla or lemon topped with butter cream swirls
Week 5 - Traybakes - toffee crisp, rocky road
Week 6 - Gluten Free Muffins - apple & cinnamon, double chocolate, banana
Week 7 - Cookies - peanut butter and chocolate chip
Week 8 - Victoria Sponge - a true classic with raspberry jam
You are required to bring your own apron and ingredients to each class - your tutor will advise the week before each class.
