Applying for a course
Yes - Applications are open for courses starting in January 2021
Please note that due to the impact of COVID-19, courses are likely to start online and be delivered via a blended learning approach - which may include limited face-to-face learning on campus combined with remote learning off-campus and digital learning approaches. If and when delivery is taking place on-campus, there will be reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place. If you require any support in learning digitally please inform the Course Leader or Student Support team.
Applications are now open for our Full Time courses starting in August 2021. This will be an online application process for external applicants. If you are currently studying at the college you do not need to apply online if you wish to progress within the same curriculum area – but will receive a conditional offer directly.
Every course has a separate section on the website with details about the campus, level, duration and entry requirements. You will be able to send any questions using an ‘Enquire’ button before or during your application.
Different funding arrangements exist depending on the level of a course and if it’s a Full time or Part time. There are further details and how to apply for funding at the Student Funding section of our website.
The childcare funding application is available on the funding website. Awards are offered for registered childcare and covers timetabled classes only. The college operates a nursery at our Anniesland campus and Cardonald campus which will be open at the start of the new term.
Our Admissions team will acknowledge your application and check any entry requirements if necessary. Depending on the course you have applied for, you may then receive a Direct Offer or be offered an interview – which may be a telephone or online interview at the current time. Following an interview you may then receive a Conditional or Unconditional offer for a place on the course. However, if you do not have the entry requirements for the course applied for or not judged to be ready for the course - you may be offered an alternative course at a different level or be referred for a discussion with Student Advice.
