Applying for a course

When can I apply for courses starting in August 2021?

Applications are now open for our Full Time courses starting in August 2021. This will be an online application process for external applicants. If you are currently studying at the college you do not need to apply online if you wish to progress within the same curriculum area – but will receive a conditional offer directly.

What if I have any questions about courses I’m interested in?

Every course has a separate section on the website with details about the campus, level, duration and entry requirements. You will be able to send any questions using an ‘Enquire’ button before or during your application.

What funding and financial support will be in place?

Different funding arrangements exist depending on the level of a course and if it’s a Full time or Part time. There are further details and how to apply for funding at the Student Funding section of our website.

How can I find out about funding for any courses?

Staff can be contacted by email at or phone us on 0141 272 3674. We will reply to your enquiries as quickly as we can.

Can I apply for Childcare Funding?

The childcare funding application is available on the funding website. Awards are offered for registered childcare and covers timetabled classes only. The college operates a nursery at our Anniesland campus and Cardonald campus which will be open at the start of the new term.

What happens once I submit an online application?

Our Admissions team will acknowledge your application and check any entry requirements if necessary. Depending on the course you have applied for, you may then receive a Direct Offer or be offered an interview – which may be a telephone or online interview at the current time. Following an interview you may then receive a Conditional or Unconditional offer for a place on the course. However, if you do not have the entry requirements for the course applied for or not judged to be ready for the course -  you may be offered an alternative course at a different level or be referred for a discussion with Student Advice.
