Our Chinese Cookery course will show you how to prepare delicious Chinese dishes.

What will I learn?

You will make some of the following delicious dishes:-

  • chicken sweetcorn soup
  • chicken noodle soup
  • spring rolls
  • chicken-fried rice / prawn-fried rice
  • vegetable noodles
  • popular stir fry dishes
  • pork szechuan (chilli)
  • chicken and peppers with black bean sauce
  • oriental curries
  • chow mein dishes
  • sweet and sour chicken or king prawns
  • banana and pineapple fritters.

Equipment and ingredients

You will be required to bring your own wok and utensils, plus all relevant meat, vegetables, sauces and essentials to class - your tutor will tell you in advance what you need to bring.

If agreed, tutor will bring all other condiments and food to cook. Students will pay £2 towards all these plus sampling and drinks.
