The Photography Workshops course at Glasgow Clyde College is designed to let you continue building upon the skills learnt in Photography - Beginners or an equivalent course. It lets you master techniques and skills over a variety of fields of photography and will help you create some stunning photos for your portfolio.
What will I learn?
You will use your own digital SLR (single-lens reflex) or mirrorless camera. This ongoing class is designed for those with a working knowledge of the modes and menu in their own cameras to continue developing skills in photographic technique, composition, lighting and appreciation. Different aspects of photography from portraiture to landscape and still life to street/documentary are approached with photoshoots and discussion, along with introductions to various editing methods on Lightroom and Photoshop.
The class will involve a local field trip, weather permitting and runs in 8 week blocks throughout the year.
Entry requirements (minimum)
As a significant element of this course is computer-based, you'll need to have experience of using a computer and a working knowledge of Apple Mac computers is an advantage.
