Would you like to learn a new skill for free? Glasgow Clyde College offers a range of courses in local venues across the North West and South of Glasgow so you learn at a venue close to you. Our courses will take place online via Zoom this term, however you may have the opportunity to take part in face to face learning if circumstances change.

Our community courses are free and to be eligible to join this course you must:

  • live in Glasgow
  • be not working, claiming benefits or on a low income
  • be over the age of 16

As part of the Young Person’s Guarantee, priority will be given to young people aged between 16-24 who also meet the additional criteria.

This course will teach you basic IT skills under the guidance of a professional tutor. You will learn how to use Microsoft Word, create and use an email account, and use the internet.

Please note we also run an SCQF Level 4 Course for students with some IT skills, and for students who have passed the SCQF Level 3 Course.
