Trainee florist Emma Brady is sharing her experience of learning this creative skill with her followers on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and through her blog – happiness and hydrangeas.
A qualified events manager and VOWS nominated wedding co-ordinator, Emma is growing her already extensive craft skill base by studying floristry part-time at Glasgow Clyde College
“My career ambition is to offer a one-stop service for coordination, event styling and floristry for couples who are getting married. Training to become a florist is one piece of this jigsaw and I love every minute of it.
“Glasgow Clyde College is the only education provider to offer part-time bench training in floristry. The class is excellent and the lecturer Jane is amazing. She has a true passion for flowers and she has taught me so much in a short space of time."
Emma’s blog showcases her class work as well as inspiration on wedding styling.
