Fashion and Textiles

Glasgow Clyde College offers a range of full-time and part-time fashion and textiles courses from NC to HND level. 

The School of Fashion and Textiles has an impressive alumni. For over 30 years, our dedicated and experienced staff have helped shape the careers of many leading fashion talents including Tammy Kane, Graeme Armour, Louise Gray and Glasgow-based designers, Rebecca Torres and Gillian Kyle to name a few. 

Many of our students progress on to universities and art schools across the country, including Glasgow School of Art, Robert Gordon University, Duncan of Jordanston College of Art, Edinburgh College of Art. The College works closely with Heriot-Watt University to deliver a specialist degree programme, offering textile students direct entry on to year three of BA (Hons) Textiles and BSc Fashion Technology.

The School of Fashion and Textiles at Glasgow Clyde College has strong links with industry and students regularly work on innovative and challenging projects. The School also works closely with partners to deliver in-house textile training including modern apprenticeships as well as leading on the Future Textiles programme delivered at Dumfries House. 

All classes are delivered in the College’s custom-built studios, with the very latest industry-standard equipment.
