Learning for Independence

Have you recently left school?

Would you like to be part of a course that will develop your personal, social, practical and independence skills, build your confidence and encourage a mature outlook on life?

The Learning for Independence Course can support you to achieve all these things to help you make the transition from school to further education or other appropriate progression routes.

We base your learning on Curriculum for Excellence principles with an emphasis on core essential, citizenship and employability skills through a wide range of subjects certificated by the SQA at SCQF Level 2.

All students have a Personal Learning and Support Plan to enable each student’s learning to be tailored to suit their needs and goals and receive personalised guidance and support at regular meetings.

Students can apply for financial help in the form of a bursary
