NQ International Travel and Airport Operations - Level 6

This course provides the knowledge and skills required to work in a wide range of travel and tourism businesses. Successful completion also allows access to HND level travel and tourism courses.

You will learn about becoming cabin crew and working at an airport check-in, additionally we’ll cover everything you need to know about becoming an overseas Holiday Rep. The course will also develop all of the skills that are required to work in a travel agent as well as developing your selling and communication skills. This course gives you a practical insight into the travel and tourism industry and throughout the year you will get the chance to use the latest package holiday reservation, airport check-in and hotel front office software. A Study Visit and Work Experience modules are also included on the course.

Entry requirements (minimum)

  • Three Standard Grades at Level 3 or above or 3 National 5s 
  • Entry will be by interview, a short test and one acceptable reference to determine suitability for this course.
  • Applications are also invited from those without formal qualifications, but have relevant life and/or work experience.
