NC Administration and IT - Level 5

This course provides the opportunity to acquire up-to-date skills essential for employment in a modern office environment. You will learn about the use of Microsoft Office to word process, create spreadsheets, presentations and databases.

  • Audio Typing
  • Communication Skills
  • Event Organisation
  • Resource and Time Management
  • Numeracy

Entry requirements (minimum)

  • Three or more relevant Intermediate 1 qualifications at C or above (including English); OR
  • Three or more relevant courses at National 4 level or above (including English); OR
  • Three or more relevant Standard Grade passes (including English) at Grade 3 or above; OR
  • Relevant work experience will be considered.
  • An interview will be part of the selection proces
  • If you do not meet the entry criteria for the level you apply for, you may instead be offered an interview for the lower level (which may subsequently be at another campus). If you are not interested in this, please inform us in your application, at the bottom of your personal statement

  • Those wishing to progress should gain a high grade in their internal exam, pass all units as well as having an exemplary academic reference
  • Employment in an administrative environment.
