Introduction to Contemporary Art Practice - Level 5 (January 2018)

This art course is suitable for anyone with an interest in developing their skills and understanding of Contemporary Art Practice. It concentrates on key areas such as drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking. The course is designed to help you enhance your drawing skills, learn new techniques and expand your knowledge of Contemporary Art today.

This programme is suitable for those with experience and also for those beginning to pursue an interest in art. During the course we will help you develop a portfolio of work which will be essential to your progression to a variety of art programmes.

Entry requirements (minimum)

  • You will need to provide a detailed personal statement
  • Your personal statement should explain why you wish to pursue a program of study relating to Contemporary Art Practice (fine art)
  • One reference (preferably academic)
  • Show recent examples of your work
