This interactive course is ideal for beginners who would like to learn the basics of sign language. Sign language is one of the most studied language formats in the world, and learning the basics opens up communication with a huge range of people.
This course focuses on the basics of sign language, and covers common topics like introductions, the weather, and giving people directions, as well as things like hobbies and interests.
This course can be used as an introduction to further learning, or simply as a way of learning the fundamentals in order to improve their communication skills.
This British Sign Language course includes lots of group work to develop receptive and productive skills.

Sandra Boyle, the class tutor, is deaf herself so classes will be conducted in British Sign Language.
