Photography - Beginners

The Glasgow Clyde College ‘Photography – Beginners’ course covers basic photographic techniques for digital SLRs (single-lens reflex cameras) and bridge cameras giving you the perfect environment and encouragement to aid your personal development.

You will learn to leave the automatic setting behind and take control of your camera using the different camera modes and functions. You will also learn how to download and store your digital images, scan and store your old photographs, manipulate images and how to repair old photographs using Adobe Photoshop techniques.

You should bring your camera along to class with you.

As a significant element of this course is computer-based, you'll need experience of using a computer.

This course allows you to build a solid base from which to grow your photography skills. If you are eager to learn more you can look into our Intermediary Photography Classes which will build on what you have already learned and help to develop your skills even further.
