Assessor Award (Non-Vocational)

This course is suitable for those who are assessing learners in a classroom or other off-job training environments such as training centres and workshops.

Course content

  • agree assessment arrangements with learners
  • conduct assessment events
  • communicate assessment decisions to learners 
  • contribute and conform to internal quality assurance requirements.

Online delivery

Paper-free, our E-portfolio option, offers you a high level of flexibility in terms in working around your prospective work patterns. It enables you to submit portfolio evidence electronically at a time and place that suits you. The system is available 24/7, enabling you to access materials, submit portfolio evidence, receive feedback, assessment and guidance support. 

Attendance

There is an initial assessment and course overview session at Glasgow Clyde College followed by visits to you in the workplace to provide support and gather evidence.

  • 18 January 2018 (09:30-12:30)

Duration 

Six months (approx.)

Funding

This course is eligible for Individual Training Account (ITA) funding.

Entry requirements (minimum)

You must be in an assessor role with learners to access.
