Appeals and Complaints

Academic Appeals

If you did not achieve the result you feel you should have for an assessment, you should talk to your lecturer about it. However, if you feel you are still unhappy after speaking to your lecturer, you can submit an academic appeal. You can find out more about academic appeals in our Academic Appeals Student Guide.

If you wish to make an Academic Appeal, please complete the Academic Appeal Form.

Complaints

The College always tries to provide a high quality service, but we know things can go wrong. When this happens, we would like to hear about it so that we can try to fix it for you. You can let us know about your issue by making a complaint. Some examples of things you might want to complain about include the admissions process, how you are being taught, the resources or support available or how a member of staff treated you. Further information regarding complaints is provided in our Guide for Complainants.

Complaints Handling Procedure Reports

Glasgow Clyde College publishes an annual complaints performance report in line with Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO) requirements. The annual report summarises and builds on the quarterly reports we review internally and includes statistics in line with the performance indicators published by the SPSO. The report also highlights trends and actions we have taken to improve our services.
